Module VI: Wound Related Pain:
Strategies for Minimizing Pain and Optimizing Quality of Life


Wound related pain can significantly impact a patient’s life. The care that is provided to the patient may influence this pain; therefore, strategies to decrease pain should be incorporated into the plan of care. This program provides information about wound related pain and offers recommendations for practice that will assist with the reduction of this pain.

This program is based upon an initiative of the World Union of Wound Healing Society.


Objectives:
